a poet not by profession or any education
i am a receptor of feelings, a lover’s admiration
combusting my elated heart with such sensation
i am romancing the language of love civilization.
a pot of emotional ink is spilling in excitement
a manuscript of stimulated snippets laughs in adornment
quarreling to cough both honey and venom in commitment
a poet in love writes verses to behold the deviant.
love is not heard or seen but done to make mean
love is not to convince but realize the feel in between
love is not at sixteen or eighteen but a life in its vaccine
love is a routine of life, a truth beyond the screen.
i am writing of love in my soulful marine, my queen.
