doping delight

it’s the fourth prompt of a-z challenge and i am really happy to enter it
i.e. a poem with the letter ‘d’.

♥ doping delight ♥

what is it to be like a dope and add a substance of delight
a poet with a pen is about to write in his own dreamy sight
for he feels love in his heart is raining in the bright sunlight
taking away the pain, the mind is quite and heart is in smite.

he desires in his hope; love is intoxicating him to be a dope
addicted in her beautiful globe, he smokes to write and cope
concealing his affection, he swings on deathless durable rope
impressed and influenced by her vivacity, he desires to elope.

flying high in heroine needle and cannabis kindle him to fiddle
he travels through life and death in twilight of thoughts spindle
blood pumps to ripple his tearing emotions of heart in whistle
he scribbles stanza to rhyme his feelings of doping delight in little.

he is a dope in her delight, her eyes are his sight of angelic light.
