the other side of paradise

hello friends,
it’s the third prompt of #NovemberNotes challenge and i am here with my third prompt
i am late due to reasons “unexplained” (too many) 
i.e. a poem prompt inspired by the song title “The Other Side Of Paradise by Glass Animals”.

i wrote this poem to remind me of the song “The Other Side Of Paradise by Glass Animals“.

night drinks the darkness in its whole
sun sets to end as of carbon in the coal
moon rises to shower lights in scroll
i sleep in paradise clothe in happy roll.

stars decorate the sky in bright shades
like the flowers twinkles in the garden
consumed in the beauty of dark trades
i enjoy silence to sleep in paradise den.

tomorrow, i will meet her again, soon
to explore the night and watch the moon
to see the stars in her darkness and bloom
the other side of paradise is her love in cocoon.

i wait for the time to unfold the boon.
